Have you ever sat and just thought about how lucky we are to have disney? It has created so many dreams for people of all ages. Do you ever sit at the parks and watch the kids as they meet there favorite princess, or even if they are going on their favorite ride? The emotion behind their eyes and smile is priceless. If you really sit and think about it, what Walt did was incredible. To this day i’m still astounded and I know I always will be. He created hope, joy, and happiness in millions of peoples lives. I can never say it enough, thank you Walt.

Actually, there is no actual proof that he was an anti-Semite and racist. In fact, one of his closest friends was Jewish! Herman “Kay” Kamen was the head of the Disney merchandise arm and a Jewish entrepreneur [x] He never openly expressed any hate against any racial group. Most people would point to “Song of the South” as proof, but he actually went through a lot of trouble to make sure that it was racially sensitive. He had various African Americans in the business to review the script [x].
